Our beloved father, Leo V. Heintzelman, passed away at his home on January 18, 2010.
Leo was born on September 15, 1924 to Leo and Agnes (Striegel) Heintzelman in Topeka, KS. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II who valiantly served in the Pacific.
We all love you pop and will miss you every day for the rest of our lives.
He was preceded in death by his adoring wife Betty, his parents, and five siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son: Kevin Heintzelman and wife Gail of Tonganoxie, KS; his daughter: Susan Kirkpatrick and husband John of Royse City, TX; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his companion for many years Esther Stafford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Friday, January 22, 2010 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church; Lansing, KS. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family request any memorials be given to the Salvation Army.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Belden-Larkin Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Condolences may be sent to www.beldenlarkin.com
